Scholarships:Students from Pacific island countries are eligible for a number of scholarships at Otago including:
  • International Research Master's Scholarship: Based on academic merit this covers all tuition fees and also includes a living stipend of NZ$13,000 per year.

  • Pacific Island Doctoral Scholarship: funding covers a tuition fee waiver and living stipend. Students that or of indigenous Pacific island descent and intending to undertake their first doctoral qualification are eligible.

  • School of Biomedical Sciences Pacific Peoples’ Postgraduate Scholarship: For students of indigenous Pacific island descent intending to enrol in a full-time 400-level postgraduate programme at Otago’s School of Biomedical Sciences. Funding covers a tuition fee waiver.
