Celebrating 15 Years of POLHN – Universal Health Care Photo Contest

POLHN photo contest - Universal Health Coverage

POLHN photo contest – Breaking Barriers through Technology and Innovation to achieve improved Universal Health Care

POLHN team is excited and likes to celebrate its 15th anniversary with the diverse health learning communities across the Pacific Islands Countries (PICs). To boost the celebration, POLHN is giving away $100 every month to the winners of its Facebook photo contest. The theme of the competition is, “Breaking Barriers through Technology and Innovation to achieve improved Universal Health Care“.

World Health Organisation (WHO) supports and provides an innovative mechanism for the development of appropriately skilled health workforce in line with population needs in order to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Universal health coverage means that all people have access to the health services they need (prevention, promotion, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care) without the risk of financial hardship when paying for them.

Health workers from POLHN countries can submit high-resolution photos via POLHNs Facebook page using #hashtags. The photo should be relevant to the theme and be a part of personal engagement or POLHN experience.
