This course looks at what these programmes are and how to implement them. This course has been adapted from Global Health eLearning (GHeL) Center under a creative commons license and modified according to prevailing trends in the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs).
After completion of this course, students will be able to understand:
- The principles of effective youth programming;
- The tailored programmatic initiatives and approaches for the improvement of the sexual and reproductive health of young people; and
- How to locate and use resources for supporting both the monitoring and evaluation of programmes, and the scale-up of successful approaches.

This section focuses on the importance of the health of young people. Young people make up a significant proportion of each country's population and comprise about 20% of the world's people. Furthermore, the module features topics like Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Tract Infections, Sexual Violence and Exploitation etc.
Final Assessment Exam
This section contains the final exam of the course, which is mandatory in order to achieve the certificate.
